These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the rental services, website, equipment, and related offerings provided by Lucky’s Bike Rentals, LLC (“Lucky’s,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By renting equipment from us, using our website, or participating in any related activity, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To rent from Lucky’s, you must:

Be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian sign on your behalf).
Provide valid identification.
Complete and sign Lucky’s Liability Waiver.
Agree to comply with all local laws, including helmet and safety regulations.

2. Rental Period

Rental time begins when the equipment is released to you.
Late returns may incur additional fees as disclosed in the rental agreement.
If you need extra time, contact us as soon as possible to request an extension.

3. Rental Fees & Payments

Fees are due at the time of rental unless stated otherwise.
Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and any listed digital payment systems.
You authorize Lucky’s to charge your payment method for:
- Rental fees
- Late fees
- Damage or loss charges
- Replacement costs

4. User Responsibilities

By renting equipment, you agree to:

Use the equipment safely and responsibly.
Comply with all traffic, trail, and safety laws.
Wear appropriate safety gear (helmets recommended and may be required by law).
Inspect the equipment before use and notify Lucky’s of any issues.
Not permit unauthorized riders.
Not use the equipment for racing, stunts, or extreme riding.

5. Condition of Equipment

Equipment is inspected before each rental.
You must return equipment in the same condition you received it, aside from normal wear and tear.
You are responsible for:
- Damage caused by negligence, misuse, crashes, or loss
- Replacement costs for stolen or unreturned equipment

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Lucky’s equipment for:

Illegal activities
Transporting passengers (unless equipment is specifically designed for it)
Off-road or extreme use beyond the intended purpose
Commercial use without prior written permission

7. Assumption of Risk

Riding bicycles and similar equipment involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. By renting from Lucky’s, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the activity.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made before the start of the rental period may be refunded in accordance with Lucky’s refund policy.
No refunds will be issued for unused time once the rental period begins, unless required by law.

9. Lost or Stolen Equipment

You are responsible for the equipment from the moment it is released to you until it is returned.
Charges for lost or stolen equipment may include:

Full replacement value
Recovery costs
Lost rental income (in certain cases, if outlined in the rental agreement)

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucky’s is not responsible for:

Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of rental equipment
Damage caused by weather, terrain conditions, or other riders
Loss of personal belongings

Lucky’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lucky’s, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

Your use of the rental equipment
Violations of these Terms
Negligent or unlawful conduct

12. Privacy

Information you provide to Lucky’s is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Lucky’s operates. Any disputes will be resolved in local courts unless otherwise required by law.

14. Changes to Terms

Lucky’s may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted or provided at the time of rental. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
